There are 72 civilians employed by my Department in Custume Barracks, Athlone, all of whom are in receipt of emergency bonus at rates varying from 6/- to 15/- per week. Nine of them are being paid the maximum authorised rates for their respective grades. The question of increasing the rate of bonus of certain of the other employees is under consideration at present.
