Although a definite undertaking cannot be given at this stage it is hoped that the supply of artificial fertilisers during the next season may be such as to permit the utilisation of the fertiliser (credit) dockets issued to wheat growers during the 1943-44 sale season.
Is the Minister aware that from a good deal of land four crops of corn have been taken in recent years, and that it is only waste to crop it again unless fertilisers are available?
