asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state, in relation to the statement issued by the Government Information Bureau on the 19th July last that the estimated value of the amount of building and constructional work completed during the year ended June, 1946, was £5,583,600, the estimated amount of this work completed under each of the headings (1) dwellinghouses by (a) private enterprise, (b) local authorities, (c) Government Departments; (2) factories and workshops; (3) hospitals; (4) schools and colleges; (5) churches and convents; (6) recreational buildings; (7) hotels and tourist development; (8) canals, docks and harbours; (9) civil aviation; (10) railways and tramways; (11) shops; (12) offices; (13) warehouses; (14) electricity; (15) public buildings (Government); (16) public buildings (local authority); (17) Gárda Síochána stations; (18) Army barracks; (19) repairs and maintenance, and (20) other works.

I am circulating with the Official Report a statement giving the details for which the Deputy has asked.
