The official import list does not provide a separate description for chocolate, imports of which would be brought to account under one or other of the different descriptions of cocoa preparations. In the account for cocoa preparations, other than bars and blocks, or confectionery, there were registered up to the end of November last 97 cwt. described as chocolate pastilles imported from Holland. There were no imports from any other European State.
