Vol. 104 No. 11

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business as on the Order Paper: Items Nos. 2 and 3. If Item No. 3 should be reached, it is proposed to take Vote 53 first and then the other Votes in the order they are in on the Order Paper, except Votes 55, 56 and 61.

Might I point out that none of the Estimates on the Order Paper under Item No. 3 have been circulated?

They are being circulated now, I understand.

When is it proposed to take the outstanding three—to-morrow?

If there is time.

If not, does it mean that we sit next week or carry them over to the following week?

It would be necessary to sit next week, if they cannot be disposed of to-morrow.

What is the difficulty in disposing of them to-morrow? Who is putting in the caveat against taking them?

Nobody is putting in a caveat against it. There are reasons why these three Votes, 55, 56 and 61, must be put back until to-morrow but they can be taken to-morrow.

If we finish item No. 2 to-day, we go on to item No. 3 and take Votes 55, 56 and 61 first?

No; Vote 53 first, and Votes 55, 56 and 61 will not be taken to-day.

Assuming that we do not take any of them to-day and that we take all to-morrow, do we meet to-morrow to discuss the Votes an item No. 3, and, if so, do we take Votes 55, 56 and 61?

If these Votes are not completed to-morrow, do we sit next week to finish them?

I think it will be necessary to do so.

Will there be any other business except these Votes?

No. So far as that type of business is concerned, they would represent all the business.
