The farm improvements scheme, which has now been operated by my Department for several years, provides financial assistance for farmers who carry out land reclamation or certain other improvements on their holdings. This scheme applies to holdings on all classes of land through-out the country. I do not see the necessity for a separate scheme of the nature indicated by the Deputy.
