The answer to the first part of the Deputy's question is in the negative. Progress has been retarded owing to the necessity which has arisen for seconding the actuary for other special work of an urgent nature and I am not in a position to say when a report may be expected.
Is the Minister in a position to say whether the actuarial examination of the Civil Service superannuation code is at present proceeding or whether it is held up?
It is held up at the moment because the actuary is engaged in other work.
