The information requested by the Deputy is as follows:—
By Order of the Minister for Health a consultative medical council was appointed on the 10th April, 1947.
The constitution of the council is as follows:—
Six members nominated by the Medical Association, two members nominated by the Academy of Medicine, two members nominated by the Society of Medical Officers of Health, two members nominated by the Medical Registration Council, five members to be nominated by the Minister for Health.
