asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state why Mr. Thomas O'Connor, 9 Church Street, Glin, County Limerick, has been removed from his position as postman; and if he is aware that Mr. O'Connor, who has a wife and eight children dependent on him, served for over five years in the Army.

Mr. O'Connor was employed from the 9th June until the 18th October this year solely in the capacity of leave substitute. His employment ceased on the 18th October as his services were not further required beyond that date.
