The cost of wheat imported for consumption, during the cereal year ended 31st August, 1947, was £3,199,485. The cost of wheat, landed here, imported since 1st September, 1947, was £973,594 and the estimated landed cost of wheat so far booked for shipment during the remainder of the present cereal year is £1,450,000.
Can the Minister tell us the price per barrel imported?
