Vol. 109 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Flooding.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that much damage, by flooding, is caused by rivers in North County Dublin; and whether, in view of the fact that most of these rivers open out into the sea, he will implement the provisions of the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945, in this area.

The arterial drainage problem in North County Dublin is not as serious as in other parts of the country; consequently it will be a considerable time before any of the rivers referred to can be dealt with.
