I move:—
That a supplementary sum not exceeding £10 be granted to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending 31st March, 1948, for Remuneration for the Management of Government Stocks.
This is required to refund to the National City Bank of New York, as set out in the note, certain unforeseen or extra expense that they incurred in connection with advertising the drawing of bonds arising from the external issue of the Second National Loan.
