The average weekly rent of cottages provided in the period 1883 to 1914 is 2/- including 9d. rates; in the period 1914 to 1932, 3/5 including 11d. rates; and since 1932, 6/9, including 1/3 rates where there is water and sewerage, and 5/3 including 1/- rates where these services are not available. The average rent for all cottags is 4/1, including 11d. rates.
