Vol. 111 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Land Division in County Dublin.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will examine the needs of landless men and conacre tenants in the district of Balscadden, County Dublin, in relation to land division and if he will take steps at an early date to provide land for the industrious workers of this area.

In the division of any lands in the Balscadden area, County Dublin, the position in regard to conacre tenants and any others who may apply for allotments will be carefully examined.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he is aware of the need for land division in County Dublin; and, if so, whether he proposes to acquire the Winter farm estate at Delahasey, Balbriggan, for division among conacre tenants and landless men; further, whether it is proposed to divide the Lambert estate among County Dublin applicants at an early date.

The Land Commission have no proceedings at present for the acquisition of the Winter farm at Delahasey, Balbriggan, but the matter has been noted for investigation. The position with regard to the Lambert estate was explained in my reply to Deputy Burke's question on the 4th May of this year.
