Vol. 111 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - North Dublin Bus Services.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he is aware that the Drogheda bus travelling via Balbriggan, Skerries, Rush and Lusk to Dublin is filled to capacity at midday before reaching Skerries; and, if so, whether he will make representations to the Great Northern Railway Company to arrange for a double-deck bus to leave Skerries at 10 a.m. daily and travel via Rush and Lusk to Dublin.

I am informed by the Great Northern Railway that the midday bus from Drogheda via Balbriggan, Skerries, Rush and Lusk is usually full before it reaches Skerries, but that a double decker bus which follows from Skerries at 12.15 p.m. amply provides for traffic along the route.
