Vol. 111 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - British Registered Motor Cars.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he is aware that considerable hardship is caused to owners of British registered motor cars who must travel to Britain on business, by virtue of the fact that they are required to pay heavy duty on each occasion when they take cars with them; and, if so, whether he will arrange for special facilities for such travellers for taking cars on business trips.

I am not clear as to the particular difficulty to which the Deputy refers, but if he will send me precise details of any particular cases of hardship which he has in mind, I will have them fully considered.
