I met representatives of the victualling trade from the Dublin area in March last. They were later interviewed by officials of my Department. A further request for interview made on the 24th June was refused owing to pressure of other business and a few days later a similar request from representatives of the victualling trade of North Tipperary was refused for the same reason, but a subsequent request a week later was acceded to. The Dublin Master Victuallers' Association has not approached me for an interview since the 24th June.
