asked the Minister for Defence if he will state the names of members of Dáil Éireann and Seanad Éireann who are in receipt of military service pensions under the Military Service Pensions Acts of 1924 and 1934 and the amount per annum involved in each case; further, if he will state the names of members of the Oireachtas in receipt of Ministerial and other pensions from State provided funds.

As the reply is in the nature of a statistical table I propose, with the permission of An Ceann Comhairle, and with the Deputy's consent, to have it published in the Official Report.

Having asked the permission of the Ceann Comhairle to have the reply published in the Official Debates, the Minister is within his right to have the reply published without answering it orally, and without the Deputy's permission.
