The Deputy appears to be under the impression that the Land Commission are not now free to institute proceedings for the acquisition of lands in County Dublin. That is not so, as the restrictions imposed during the emergency were recently relaxed and inquiries are now proceeding throughout the country generally with a view to the acquisition of such suitable lands as can be acquired for the relief of congestion.
