The application on behalf of the conacre farmers in North County Dublin has been noted for consideration by the Land Commission in connection with the allotment of any lands in that area which may become available for distribution.
Can the Minister state if there are any estates in North County Dublin, and the extent of these estates at the moment, marked for acquisition by the Land Commission for division amongst uneconomic farmers?
There are two estates about which we are making inquiries. We are experiencing difficulty in connection with one, but we hope to have no difficulty in acquiring the other.
