In County Clare the numbers employed were 21 gangers and 184 labourers in December, 1947, as compared with 18 gangers and 127 labourers in December, 1948.
In the entire country the numbers employed were 314 gangers and 3,023 labourers in December, 1947, as compared with 282 gangers and 3,052 labourers in December, 1948.
