The total number of labourers' cottages repaired by local authorities in each of the years ended 31st March 1945, 1946, 1947 and 1948 was 7,811, 9,935, 8,953 and 11,808, respectively.
Statistics are not available of the number of cottages still requiring repairs in each county.
