It is proposed to take business in the following order:—Nos. 1, 8, 3, 4 and 2. I wonder could we have any indication from the Opposition as to whether they would be willing to finish the Vote on Account and the Central Fund Bill to-night, even if we have to sit until, say, midnight to do so? If it is not possible to get agreement on that, it may be necessary to sit to-morrow. It would be advantageous at this stage if we could know whether we can finish to-night or else make provision to sit to-morrow.
Order of Business.
We could not give any assurance to finish to-night. That depends a lot on the Deputies on the Government side of the House.
Mr. Byrne
Will the House sit to-morrow?
It is very likely, unless the business ordered is finished to-night.
Mr. de Valera
Is it proposed to sit late to-night?
Not if we are to sit to-morrow. If there was any possibility of finishing to-night we could take power to sit beyond the usual hour.
I think it is better to keep to the normal time.
Let it go, unless there is agreement.
