Vol. 115 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Subways for Dublin.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the terms of a reply received from Dublin Corporation with regard to the question of providing subways in Dublin City to relieve traffic congestion which may arise from the provision of a bus terminus at Store Street.

The Corporation's reply, copy of which was sent to the Deputy by my Department on the 11th ultimo, states that the question of the provision of pedestrian subways was considered by the traffic committee of the corporation's town planning and streets committee and it was decided that the provision of such subways was not warranted.
