Vol. 115 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Exports to Continental Countries.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if, in view of the present British attitude towards the unity of this nation, he has taken any steps to negotiate long-term agreements with continental countries for the export of increasing numbers of cattle and increasing quantities of other agricultural produce.

There is no intention on the part of the Government to repudiate any existing trade agreement with Great Britain, the terms of which are mutually advantageous and the provisions of which have been scrupulously observed by both parties.
