As I stated on the 23rd November in reply to a question in Dáil Eireann by Deputy Spring, a number of areas in the Tralee district is being examined at present by the Electricity Supply Board under the rural electrification scheme. I am informed by the board that the Ballyduff area is included in this examination but that, at this stage, they cannot state whether this area is likely to be developed in the immediate future.

I am informed by the Electricity Supply Board that, following examination early in the present year, this area was selected for development under the rural electrification scheme and work is about to begin.
