asked the Minister for Local Government if he will give a list of the drainage schemes under the Local Authorities (Works) Act, which have been sanctioned for South Kerry and which are to be put into operation in the course of the next financial year.

The Kerry County Council have submitted proposals for 593 schemes which are being examined. It would not be feasible to give in the form of a parliamentary reply a list of the schemes to be put into operation in South Kerry in the course of the next financial year, but I shall be glad to make the schedules available for inspection by the Deputy in the offices of the Department if he so desires.
