Particulars of the value of home production of clay sewerage goods are not available. The only information available bearing on the subject of the Deputy's inquiry relates to pipes and connections of fireclay, the value of home production of which amounted to £47,161 in 1948. The corresponding figure for 1949 is not yet available.
As regards imports, I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement containing the desired information.
