asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state (a) the total amounts allocated by county councils for the improvement, restoration and maintenance of county roads in 1938-39, 1948-49, 1949-50; (b) the amount contributed from the Special Employment Schemes Vote for county road works for the same periods; (c) the grants from the Road Fund for the two latter periods; (d) the total of (a), (b) and (c); and (e) each total as given at (a), (b), (c) and (d) expressed per mile of county roads for the same period.
