asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether the Land Commission have any proceedings pending or contemplated for the acquisition of the following estates, comprising in all 2,000 acres: Wellington estate, Ballymacegan, Lorrha; Cahalan estate, Ballymacegan, Lorrha; Wellington estate, Gurteen, Rathcabbin; Darcy estate, Shraduff, Rathcabbin; Hogan estate, Annagh, Birr; Isidore O'Meara estate, Rathcabbin; Heslam estate, Lorrha, and Kennedy estate, Cullagh.

There are no proceedings for the acquisition of the estates of Darcy, Hogan, O'Meara, Heslam and Kennedy. Inquiries are being made in the cases of James and Robert Wellington. Proceedings have been instituted in the case of Denis Cahalan.
