(2) The amount of the financial assistance paid or due to be paid to housing authorities is not related to the number of houses built in any particular period, but to schemes of houses irrespective of when they are completed. It is not possible, therefore, to give the information in the precise form requested by the Deputy. The following, however, are particulars of contributions towards loan charges and grants from the Transition Development Fund paid to the four county borough councils in respect of their post-war housing schemes in each of the years in question:—
