The scheme for the extension of the Abbeyfeale water supply has been approved, and a contract has been entered into by the sanitary authority for the carrying out of the work. The delay in starting is due to the difficulty in obtaining delivery of the pipes required for the scheme. I understand that delivery is expected at the end of this month.
