Vol. 121 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Imports in Irish Ships.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state what amounts (a) of the 13,300 tons of oranges; (b) of the 9,000 tons of tea, and (c) of the 6,300 tons of dried fruit imported during 1949 were brought in Irish ships.

None of these commodities was imported from overseas on Irish vessels in the year 1949. I understand that this traffic did not offer in any substantial quantities on the routes on which Irish ships normally ply.
