The net charge on the rates in Ennis urban district in connection with the local authority's operations under the Housing of the Working Classes Acts was £209, £586, £587 and £1,168 respectively during each of the four financial years ended 31st March, 1949. Particulars are not yet available for the year ended 31st March last. The item in respect of the previous year may be subject to adjustment, if and when subsidy is claimed by the urban district council towards expenditure on recently completed schemes incurred in that year.
