The Terenure Garda Sub-District covers an area of approximately six square miles. One sergeant and four Gardaí are available for night patrol from Terenure Station. The area is patrolled also by a radio-controlled car which operates from the district headquarters at Sundrive Road and patrols the Crumlin area as well as Terenure. Special patrols are also performed by members of the detective branch. During the past four weeks seven cases of housebreaking and one of burglary occurred in the area.
