I am informed by the Electricity Supply Board that a memorial of signatures from the residents of the Mayo-Abbey area was received last March by the board's district engineer in Galway. I am also informed that it is the normal practice of the board to canvass areas in chronological order of the receipt of satisfactory memorials, and in conformity with this practice an official canvass of the Mayo-Abbey area will be commenced during the present week.
