asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will consider the advisability of increasing the price paid for home-grown wheat and so encourage greater production; and, if not, why?

I would refer the Deputy to the reply which I gave on 15th November to a question on this subject by Deputy Corry.

Is the Minister aware that in the report which he published last week of a committee which considered the flour and bread position, there is a most misleading calculation of the comparative costs of home-grown and imported wheat, and will he take steps to correct any false impression that may have been created by that report by stating the true comparison between the prices of imported and home-grown wheat?

I do not accept the Deputy's interpretation of the report.

Is it not a fact that the price——

How this arises directly out of this question is a mystery to me.

Is it not a fact that the price of imported wheat is now higher than the price guaranteed to our own growers?

If the Deputy sets down a question, I will be glad.
