In August, 1949, the Cork County Council submitted a proposal to me for the provision of a dispensary depot at Tarelton. I had inquiries made as to the necessity for such a depot, and on the 30th January, 1950, I informed the council that steps might be taken by them to acquire premises for this purpose. I understand that they have since been endeavouring to obtain suitable accommodation, but no final proposal in the matter has yet been submitted to me for approval.
