It was found necessary to cancel portion of a grant sanctioned for this work in 1947-48 because of an objection by one of the landholders concerned, and no intimation has been received in the meantime that the objection has been withdrawn.
Is the Parliamentary Secretary aware that the objection has been withdrawn now and will he have the matter further reviewed if I make further representations to the Department?
Certainly. If the objection is withdrawn, the work will go on.
