asked the Minister for Local Government whether the Limerick County Council have submitted proposals to his Department for a water and sewerage scheme for Pallaskenry and Kildimo; and, if so, whether he will indicate the present position in the matter.

Proposals have been put forward by the Limerick County Council for water and sewerage schemes for Pallaskenry.
A report on the quality of the source for the water supply was received in the Department this week and is at present under consideration. The scheme proposed for Pallaskenry would allow for extension to Kildimo.
Amended plans for the sewerage scheme, incorporating revisions suggested by the Department, were received last week and are being examined.
