It is not proposed at present to increase the amounts of the annual grants payable to officers, non-commissioned officers and men of the Reserve—First Line. The increased rates of pay and allowances applicable to officers and soldiers of the forces as from the 1st September, 1949, also apply to officers, non-commissioned officers and men of the Reserve—First Line during periods of annual training, courses of instruction, etc.
