Arts Bill, 1951—First Stage.
Leave granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to stimulate public interested in, and to promote the knowledge, appreciation, and practice of, the arts and, for these and other purposes, to establish an arts council, and to provide for other matters in connection with the matters aforesaid.—(The Taoiseach).
This Bill is in substitution for the Bill to which the Deputy refers. I will ask the leave of the House to withdraw that Bill.
