I put before all co-operative creamery societies the revised scheme which I adumbrated at Mallow in 1949, and asked them whether they were prepared to co-operate with me in putting it into effect. Of the 196 societies circularised only 49 replied and none of them were willing to operate such a scheme. If any society is now willing to do so I would be glad to hear from its committee of management.
