asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the number of acres (a) that have been secured by the Land Commission for division in County Waterford during the year 1950; (b) that have been divided during that year, and (c) which it is intended to secure during the year 1951.

The particulars are: (a) six acres; (b) 72 acres; (c) The Land Commission have acquired 334 acres since 1st January, 1951, and have proceedings in respect of over 1,000 acres. It is not possible to state how much of the latter area will be acquired or resumed this year.
