There is no statutory authority which would enable increases in pension to be granted to employees of mental hospital authorities on the lines suggested by the Deputy and any proposal for reviewing the pensions of such employees would have to be examined in relation to the adjustment of pensions of superannuated employees of public authorities, both central and local as a whole.
