Vol. 126 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tenancy of Labourer's Cottage.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state why Mrs. Nora Cremins, of Kilcow, Castleisland, was refused tenancy of a labourer's cottage at Rathenny, Tralee, which was occupied by her parents and members of her family for over 40 years, and if he is aware that Mrs. Cremins is presently living with a young family in a condemned house.

I am informed that the letting of this cottage was made on the recommendation of the chief medical officer in accordance with the Housing (Management and Lettings) Regulations, 1950.
