asked the Minister for Finance whether his Department have received an application from Mr. Maurice Hallahan, Tinalyra, Grange, County Waterford, on behalf of himself and a number of farmers, in connection with a grant for the resurfacing of a road joining the main Dungarvan to Youghal road and the Ardmore road; and, if so, if he will state the present position regarding the application.

asked the Minister for Finance whether his Department have received an application from Mr. John Flynn, Mallinamult, County Waterford, in connection with a grant for the repair of a road in that district to be carried out as a special employment or rural improvement scheme; and, if so, if he will state whether sanction has been given to a grant for the scheme; and, if not, what is the present position.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 47 and 48 together.

These two proposals have recently been inspected and are now under consideration. A communication will be sent to the applicants in each case at an early date.
