asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware that (1) the wage of Mr. William Sinnott, range warden, Kilworth, an industrial worker of 25 years' service is only £3 a week and, if so, if he will take immediate steps to have his wages increased to a proper standard to enable him to live and rear his family; (2) the wages of Mr. John Collins and Mr. John Llewellen, pioneers, Aerodrome, Fermoy, are only £2 16. 0d. per week and, if so, if he will take immediate steps to have them brought to a proper level and, further, if he is aware that men employed in a similar capacity in his Department in Cork have got two increases and have now £6 per week.

The question of the grant of an increase in wages to Mr. William Sinnott, range warden at Kilworth Camp, is under consideration. Arrangements have been made for the payment to Messrs John Collins and John Llewellen, pioneers, Fermoy Aerodrome, of a revised rate of £3 9s. 6d. a week with effect from the 10th instant. The rate payable to pioneers in Cork City is £5 12s. 0d. a week.
