While I am afraid I am not clear as to what precisely are the inequities which the Deputy has in mind, he will in any event appreciate that it is not the practice to answer inquiries about the Budget in advance of its introduction.
Did the Minister read the remarks of the President of the Federation of Manufacturers, made at the annual meeting yesterday, and will he say, in view of the attention which this matter has received in recent months, if he is in a position to indicate whether there will be any amendment under the system?
As I did not hear the remarks of the gentleman in question, I am not prepared to say whether I agree or disagree with him.
