The delay in erecting a new Garda Síochána station at Baltinglass, County Wicklow, has been due mainly to difficulties which were experienced in the acquisition of a suitable site. Provision for the erection of a new station will be included in next year's Estimates.
Is the Minister aware that the Gardaí in Baltinglass are at present residing in what can be described as an historic ruin?
